well it's Saturday morning....Time to get ready, Take my drugs & get out on my bike while the weather is so mild, think i will go a bit further today do another extra couple of miles.
Yesterday I went to my Doctors for a 3 month check up which was good & a bit worrying at the same time. She was happy with how I've been recovering and my weight loss, down from 120 Kgs to 110 Kgs but still quiet a bit to go. However recently I had to increase one of my tablets due to ( I think it was, as it sort of went over my head a bit ) the Tricuspid Valve not working to full capacity (about 55%) but will find out more next Friday when I see the Cardiology doctor.
I should have more information & some updates on how the rest of the Team are doing regarding their preparations for our challenge.

Today's Bike Ride Update:-
ReplyDeletewhat a good day today spent over 2 hours riding and adding an extra couple of miles by going around Worcester Race Course. Then I had to take a short break in town centre for Medical repairs to myself.......Medical repairs??? Yes got into Worcester City centre to find I had cut myself on my arm on my journey so I had to get some plasters & wipes, due to the blood thinning drugs I take I bleed very easy so I sat down on a bench next to an old Gentleman who said " That looks bad" I told him how easy I bleed due to the drugs so as I was cleaning myself up then this Gent starts going on about Enoch Powell & how this country was in such a mess...lol...I though I just need to clean myself up and get back on my bike.
Sunday Bike Ride:
ReplyDeleteAnother good day for getting out & about, a bit on the windy side which made it hard work peddling against the wind but I kept on going regardless. I found it worse going around the Race Course as it's so open. I'm estimating that I have rode about 35 miles over this weekend so a positive stride in the right direction.
Bumped into a couple of old Christopher Whitehead school mates, Steve who I had not seen since leaving school & Martin who I have seen around & about.
Well back to work tomorrow & then off to Gym on the evening after work, Just no rest for the wicked.
